Meet Dave Hinton

Dave is an experienced certified golf professional from Raleigh, N.C. He holds certifications from the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) of Oceanside, CA, and The United States Golf Teachers Federation (USGTF) of Fort Pierce, FL. Dave’s core teaching philosophy is driven by a true passion to help golfers evolve into the best players and people they can be, incorporating the industry’s leading technology, performance psychology, and philosophy into his instruction.

For the past eighteen years, Dave has helped grow the game of golf as a Certified Golf Coach with the First Tee — Triangle organization in Raleigh, NC. During that time, he’s worked with hundreds of young golfers.Dave also spent nearly a decade as Head Coach of NCAA, D-I, N.C. Central Men’s golf team where the program had success both on and off of the course.

In May of 2022, Dave was ceremoniously inducted into the African American Golfers Hall of Fame, (AAGHOF), Riviera Beach, FL. for his contributions to growing game of golf. Dave eagerly works with golfers of varying ages and skill levels, from beginners to professionals, and draws a world of knowledge from each experience.
